After watching many parents at the beach during the school holidays, I noticed that most of the parents and even some professional photographers make the same mistakes when they were photograph children. I guess I can summarise the biggest mistakes in one line. Kids, please sit down over there and look at the camera and smile!
When it comes to a kid’s photo session, I try to make it something children wants to do so I have a much better chance of accomplishing my objective.
All kids love to run and play and have fun. Why not let them do what comes naturally?
Working with children is just pure fun. Doing what we love is the best part when it comes to photographing children and it’s easy to find the joy in photographing kids when you let the kids to be themselves.
